I think that there should be two lists... one lists of things people have recieved because of complimenting companies and another list of things people have recieved by asking for free samples!

.......but they're all freebies, regardless!!:rotfl: I think people generally say if they've complimented, complained, or blatently asked for freebies!

For those who want free pens/stationary. I highly recommend that you go to either your freshers fair or a graduate fair. All stalls usually make stationary as a give away and if your not a student or not in your penultimate (second to last year of education) or final year you can easily make up something as they don't actually check your qualifications when you apply to go.

Last year I went to 3 grad fairs (went with a friend who was job hunting and another grad fair was being advertised at the grad fair itself!) and managed to accumulate a very large collection of pens and pencils some novelty items (extra large pen from TargetJobs, stress balls, key rings etc). I ended up with more than enough pens to last me through my school year. The quality is usually better than the stuff from poundland, more well known companies like Barclays gave away mugs at our uni grad fair. :j
