Got a £2 coupon from Cadbury after I e-mailed them complaining that I found a hair in a brunch bar!0

Firstly I would like to apologise if I posted this on the wrong board,
I recently bought what can only be described as a 'Dodgy' bottle of heinz ketchup the item was 1.79 at the time of purchase but when I got it it was full of water and smelt.
I am not the type of person to complain but thought what the hell and went onto the heinz website and told them of my experience with this particular product, Not for anything other than to air my concerns as Ive never had a problem with any of their stuff before.
Anyways I was in shock this morning when I got the post to see an apologetic letter from Heinz with a £10 voucher to use on their products, I really was not expecting anything of this sort and especially not a voucher for that amount, Just a letter or even another bottle of sauce would have been sufficient.
I just wonder if anyone else has any other simar experiences with companies.Total Earned in 2013 for Online & Mobile Activities: £830 -

There's a whole thread about it here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1077623
It works for compliments as well as complaints!0 -
I wrote to Tesco to complain about a £1 body puff that fell apart after only being used 3 times. They said it wasn't one of their own products so they'd passed it on to the supplier to deal with, but gave me a £5 Tesco card by way of apology. And in the same post I received a letter from the supplier with an apology and samples of some of their other products to try. Good result I thought.0

I got 4 pounds worth of vouchers for writing to KP to tell them the flavouring on McCoys crisps is too inconsistent... I didn't ask for any vouchers but they arrived within 48 hours! Paper vouchers valid in any shop :-)0

Read this thread with great interest on Friday so went home and sent a few emails!
This is my result:
Elemis - I asked for skin care recommendations. Very nice 'consultation' by email. Recommended products and promised to send some samples in the post as well as 15% discount on first purchase. Replied within hours
Andrex - I contacted with compliment. Very nice and fast response email thanking me for my praise and a promise of voucher in the post.
L'occatane - Replied within 2 hrs! I asked for skin care advise. They will be sending me some samples!
Green People - I asked for some skin care advise. Bit of a rubbish cut and paste links email to their products which didn't answer my question. I've now outright asked for samples so we'll see!
Berts Bees - no reply. I'd really like some berts bees for free!!
In the past I received a voucher for a free tub of Ben an Jerry's (complaint about massive air hole in tub!).
I've emailed a few others in the past with no joy though but i cant remember for the life of me who!House saving Targets:

Ha, when it arrives you should make a complaint that although you enjoyed it, your skin thought it was rather invidious. Maybe you can get different samples as well :beer:Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement.
