I signed up to this last week and received my sim card through today. The lady who set it up last week said they would just use my direct debit details for my other virgin services to take the £10 a month.

When I set up my account online, it shows me on the "Pay as you go" tariff with a remaining balance of £1. There is no mention anywhere of how many minutes or texts I have remaining. Can anyone on this deal confirm what it should say under the "Remaining Balance" and "Current Tariff" sections in my online account?

I've sent a text message since I got the sim card and my balance has reduced to 88p. This can't be right.

when i log into my account it says pay monthly sim only and it gives what texts and mins i have left.the how much you've spent refers to what your last bill was i think.i've had the sim for almost 2 years and never taken much notice.don't know what you mean about remaining balance as there isn't actually any credit (money) on the sim.i'd ring em up if i was you

same opinion give them a ring on my dd account, you log in and it shows you how many minutes/texts you have used def no balance amount.

Sounds like they have sent you a PAYG sim instead of a contract sim. You need to phone CS to sort it out.
