  • Well guys, my F2F is tomorrow and I am all prepared. Am bringing in the letter offering me my job, so he can see the salary, am bringing in an up to date valuation of the flat, just to show him we are in £118k negative equity and also bringing in my SoA. I feel ok.

Just a question, what is the difference?

When you get AD, mine will be beginning of July, that still means you can't get any credit for 5/6 years and can't go for certain jobs?

If I get a BRU, which I think I will....say its 5 years for arguments sake, that means I can't get any credit for 5 years and can't go for certain jobs.

So what is the difference, it looks the same to me.

If I get a BRU, which I think I will....say its 5 years for arguments sake, that means I can't get any credit for 5 yearsyes you can,but anything over £500 you have to tell them about your bc and can't go for certain jobsnot sure.

So what is the difference, it looks the same to me.

Whilst you are bc you can only apply for below £500 without disclosing you are undischarged, anything over that YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM,even if they don't ask. When you are discharged that rule does not apply. If you get a bru then the rules still applies for however long the bru is for. Thats just one of the differences. Not sure about the rest.Dx

Ps i dont explain myself very well so may have confused you more.lol

I looked at it the same as you, that due to my credit rating being shot for 6 years that it didn't really matter, if there are any credit/loan companies that would be willing to deal with me while defaults/partial settlements etc are recorded on my credit report then i doubt that that company would be bothered when you tell them you have a bru.

Also in the current financial state the country is in i doubt that any financial institution would be wanting to lend us money without a perfect unblemished credit report, if they were i doubt it would be at a favourable interest rate anyway.

    Good luck tomorrow :D
Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I had it all and now its gone
Well my 6 years are now up, now to start to rebuild my life again
