Hi there. I've been trying to log on to Abbey today. Normally it works but seems to be a slow site.
I haven't been able to bring up the log in screen - it just won't load. Phoned them up and they've told me it's just Tiscali customers that have the problem. Seems strange to me. It'd be really helpful to know if anyone else has had problems with their Abbey internet banking today.

I did an e-savers transfer this morning and paid some bills about an hour ago. All working fine via Virgin.0

Ive tried many times today to log in today, but keeps coming up with 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'. Usually no problems logging on...................and yes Im with Tiscali.0 -

No - sorry they didn't say how long this would last - Abbey blamed Tiscali, and I emailed Tiscali support but haven't had a response.
I'd just like to say thanks very much for your replies to my post. I really appreciate you guys going to the trouble to reply - at least I know it's not just me or my PC, and you've all been more helpful than either Tiscali or the Abbey!! It's a real pain not being able to access my account. I'm going to try in the morning and will post again once I am able to log on, but chompie, chmmy and daveyjp it was really good of you guys to respond. Thanks very much. Richard.0 -

still down. have just spent 30 minutes on phone to abbey trying to resolve unauthorised transaction problem flagged up by paypal. paypal problem isn't one (luckily) but made me panic last night when I was checking my emails after abbey's phone lines had closed, which meant that I couldn't log on to e-banking and couldn't phone abbey.
the abbey operative I to spoke said that neither abbey or tiscali know where the problem lies so this could be interesting.0 -
Just to say that this discussion is carrying on in the Techie Stuff thread under Abbey / Tiscali.
Several users locked out of their Abbey account and fairly useless advice being given out by Tiscali to alter their PC settings.
Looks like a few are joining the Tiscali forums to leave feedback there.
