yes, I'm afraid he would say something like that and more than likely will again. About 3 months before we last went on holiday he said 'we'll get Christmas out of the way and then you will lose weight before we go on holiday, won't you'. Just before we went he said 'you didn't lose any weight then'.....:o ......it was on my mind so much in the months leading up and I really tried. I lost just under a stone before we went which was a pitiful amount to be truthful.

To be honest, I can't be bothered now. The excitement of researching over the last few days and finding it and checking the hotels etc has gone because if he had been keen, he'd have just said 'yes'. It's not as if he can't afford it!:mad:

Sorry I hate that men (some men, some men, not all men, especially the lovely ones on here!) think they have the right to say that to a woman. Is he Mr Perfect? No flaws at all? Not that being anything other than skinny is a flaw, I might add. We all come in different shapes and sizes.

Go on holiday with a mate, give him a week to clear out :mad:

Just under a stone is not a pitiful amount of weight to lose. BB he is being a tit.

this weight business really bugs me,all the skinny people on TV the special K advert with the girl with the perfect figure who wants to lose weight!!!!!!! She looks good at the start of the ad. and then other people think they can comment on how you look, make decisions about YOUR appearance.

I watched a really dated tv programme from the eighties today, there were no skinny women in it all where easily older then 20(stupid hair but hey it was the 80's) and not distractingly attractive if you know what I mean. just looked very normal.

and then we watched CSI, skinny bikini clad women, all the female actresses were gorgeous and looked young etc, very slim/skinny. honestly its everywhere.
