I was dead chuffed yesterday, did most things on my list but for cleaning out a manky cupboard, which in reality was probably the most important job. Everytime I open my cupboards something falls on my head.
Today is study day so I am off to study consolidated balance sheets!!
and also try to fit in the Tuesday twister (stolen from the Money Saving Old Style board)
BTW - HHI stands for Half Hour Ironing!

Morning Sammy, sounds like a busy day ahead!
I'm off to work in a minute - just trying to wake up properly first
See everyone later xxPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

blimey, that list has made me feel even more tired than I already am by just reading it!!!!
Work in 15 minutes.........it's not very busy at the moment and could be quite a dull morning. Internet access isn't allowed (and is apparently actively monitored) during working hours so I daren't even come and read on here - let alone post!"Stay Wonky":D

BB what about your human rights?????
I can't imagine what would happen if my boss told us that :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
We're always "researching stuff" :rotfl: (I'm in accounts; MSE has saved the company money too)

Morning Sammy, Pen, BB and Olive and everyobdy who follows today!
WEll done on the cleaning Sammy - you put me to shame! I like the HHI idea - little and often - makes the mountain not so daunting!
I have to be a bit sneeky when coming on here at work, as the internet is for work purposes only! And as of next week I don't think I'll be allowed on here at all! We're moving offices and I think I will have more eyes watching - might have to start having my lunch at my desk, just so I can get my MSE fix!
Overcast and due for rain here today. HAve a good day everyone!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

well, when I started there, I had to sign to say I understood that I could access the internet outside work time (ie lunch etc). My boss said (and I'm not sure this is true, I've never seen it) that a list of all sites visited is produced for each person and is checked by the manager and anything that doesn't look work related is queried.
I've never seen any list for any staff in the 5-6 months I've been there!!
anyway, must dash - see you all later!"Stay Wonky":D

Morning all.
As for those chores sammy, well done! I wish I could take a leaf out of your book and get on with what I'm REALLY meant to be doing - rather than spending my time on MSE.
I don't know what it's like where you are, but this weather is really getting me down. I'm sick and tired of waking up to rain and thinking "Oh great, another day stuck inside." This is not how I remember Summer! But I hope it's a bit more bright where you are (oh god I sound like a weatherman).
On a brighter note, I'm off to enter some comps on MSE now, I hope its my lucky day!0 -
Morning all....haven't been around for a few days as we're majorly stressing over the sale of the house. On the up side we should be exchanging contracts this week AND I've found the perfect place to rent for me and the kids BUT I'm not sure whether I'll pass the credit checks and I know for a fact that I don't earn enough for the rent check. I mean I know I can cover it, but they take the monthly rent and multiply it by 12 (for the year) then multiply it by 3 and that is what you need to earn to pass the rent check. !!!!!!.....how is a single person with 3 kids supposed to get a decent place in SE England??
Anyway....it looks like I'll need a guarantor and think will have to go grovelling to ex.....wish I hadn't had a go at him last week.....oops.
Dull and overcast here but not raining (yet). Have a lovely day everyone....YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Morning everyone!
Sammy I'm with BB - your list is making me tired! I should take it as motivation and join in, but you know what... I can't be botheredI might hoover if I can find the energy
Fingers crossed for you Suzy, where abouts in SE are you? I am in Reading and it is crazily expensive to rent here. We got very very lucky with the right landlord at the right time and I am just hoping he doesn't sell when the tenancy is up.
It is chucking it down here so I shan't be going far. I shall spend most of the day panicking about my driving test - sorry, I am sure I will bore myself with it by the end of the week! It is hard because so much hangs on it - it will literally change my life. Oh well I can do it again if I fail.
Right, better sort DS out with some breakfast - he has spent 20 minutes in the kitchen playing with a cup lid, he is fascinated by it, I haven't had this much peace in the morning for ages!0 -
Morning all. By the looks of it I'm going to have to start a list like that! Will be back when I've figured out what I've got to do!
Hope everyone is well and having stress free days! This is not a signature.... or is it?Clydesdale loan £955 £174.42 saved. £780.58 to go.0 -
