Enduring Power of Attorney savings accounts?

I have enduring power of attorney over my mother's financial affairs and need to put money into 1 or more savings accounts. The only accounts I've found that allow this are Heritable Bank and Icesave - both owned by the Landsbanki Group. Even though £35K is covered under the financial regulations I feel that they are too new to the market to give me a level of comfort. My questions that some of you might be able to help me with are;
1. What's the general opinion of Heritable, Icesave or the Landsbanki Grp?
2. Any other known savings accounts that allow you to open an account with enduring power of attorney?
Any help, advice or direction would be really welcome. Thank you.

Landsbanki itself has been going for 120 years if that helps.
It's only the 'newer' trading names that have come to market more recently, and they have been around a good couple of years now.
I can't offer an opinion on Heritable, but I have an ISA and an easy access saver with Icesave, and they are brilliant in my opinion. Everything has been done quickly and efficiently and I have had no problems at all with them so far.0 -

....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I only found one, or maybe two, that don't allow it, though many were a pain in the butt re ID requirements.
For example, I have opened accounts at Kent Reliance BS, NS&I, Northern Rock, Whiteaway Laidlaw Bank, Nottingham BS, Anglo Irish Bank, Yorkshire BS and Ice Save0
