omg i got one!!!!!!!
through wii-console alert thing , powerplay ! £69.99!!!!0 -
Iv got rid of my Lancaster code but i still have the code for a reserved wii fit in Chippenham (Wiltshire)argos - come on someone must want me to PM it to them.
I got mine thru wii pre order website - kept it open on desktop - it sounds a foghorn when some come in stock which scares the hell out of you but i could leave pc and do other things and just listen out for it - was worth it. I refuse to pay over the odds for something that someone greedy is trying to make a fast buck on. I would recommend the site."With no money you start to discover your own inner resource" GK Chesterton2 adults, 3 children0 -
By the time the page actually loaded and didn't give an error report they had all gone too :-( I think I might give up and try again another day LOL

Angel316 - do you feel like a day out to chippenham tomorrow - never been there myself but i bet its ok and they have an argos with a reserved wii fit in it.
Try the website alert system - i found it on monday night and ordered my wii fit today - it does work in the end."With no money you start to discover your own inner resource" GK Chesterton2 adults, 3 children0 -
I've left the page open. It sent me to John Lewis and Powerplay. The Powerplay website wouldn't load and by the time I had put my credit card details in at JL they said they were out of stock, wouldn't have minded but even took me through to the secondary credit card verification part. Have left the page open and will do so while I get on with other stuff.
Thanks for the advice :-)

to those who have managed to get one and count to ten slowly if you havnt
my margate reservation has gone but still have lough , chippenham and now one in port talbot...... im me and i will forward the code to you.
i agree about people buing loads the selling them on to make money it annoys the h*** out of me and like someone just said about concert tickets i have had chances to buy tickets i dont need but would ever sell them on to make money some people huh
they should put a stop to like glasto tickets were personal tickets and could not be sold on dunno how you would do that for the wii though lol.
good luck people and if reservation places are any good get in touch0 -
Dixons now have them but I don;t want the games they come with. Already have one and doubt could make the price on resale. Seems a tad expensive at £139 too. Not going to be ripped off LOL

And again John Lewis have them in, put in CC card details, add extra verification and again, all gone!!!! This is getting really flipping tedious now. The stock control on these websites is rubbish. Why don't they use the same as ticketmaster so once it is in your basket it stays there for say ten minutes. I can't type fast enough LOL
And a third time at JL..... I wish they would use the same kind of system as Ticketmaster, you get to the end of the transaction and by the time the page has loaded they have gone. What kind of stupid system lets you put one in a basket and then takes it out again before you can pay????

Thanks Vicki been and bought the one you reserved at margate. You have made my daughters day she is over the moon been after one for ages.
Thanks again John0 -

It's best to preregister with the sites so all your details are in, or install google toolebar to allow autofilling.
As I said there are a lot of people chasing a little stock, I don't think Nintendo are hording it, but boats can only carry so many units, are booked / planned months in advance and take a few weeks to sail from China. Theres usually a minimum month or two delay between any possible production ramping (if they even have spare capacity at the plant) and increased stock in stores. Even if they have more capacity they may not have the parts in hand to ramp up production, most places work to a "Just in Time" work flow, they can't just ramp up production as they need stock from suppliers, who then need to ramp up their production.0
