If people bought 1 then everyone would be able to get one <sigh> I guess I will have to wait, not playing over inflated rip off prices on ebay. I do something think the whole ebay think with tickets and things like this ends up creating short supply, whereas if people didn't try and rip off or make money out of other people there would be enough to go round...... still I guess you can't fundamentally change people :-(

Nintendo have sold something like 30 million Wii's worldwide. They are struggling to keep the console in stock nevermind games.
They've sold 6.5 million copies of Mario Kart and 3.5 Million copies of Wii fit in the 3 to 4 months they have been out. Sure it's a lot but doesn't sound a whole lot, after all it's a world wide release. Let me help put that in context, Sony have sold an estimated 10 million PS3 consoles, adn the Xbox 360 has sold an estimated 18 million.
It's sheer numbers of people wanting it thats the problem, not the people buying it to flog.0 -
Just got one on John Lewis and by the time I got to the checkout they had all gone. And yes it is people being greedy buying more than one and selling them on. If I wanted to pay over inflated prices on ebay then I could but I don't see why I should be ripped off!!!!! People do it with concert tickets too, buy them and sell them on at over inflated prices. I guess where there is demand there will be supply but until consumers stop buying these these at ridiculous sell on prices nothing will ver change :-(
Sorry really miffed now because it let me put one in the basket and then by the time I had checkout and put in CC details (even took me through the verification process so now they have my card details) the stock was all gone. Surely it shouldn't let anyone buy it if the stock isn't there????!!!!
