Hi, thanks for the advice and support.

He questioned me under caution, asked for my version of events etc. From the sounds of it the woman's a fruitcake she's claiming that I hit her car though she says there was no damage and that my moving vehicle came into contact with her - funny that, given she leapt into its path and put her hands on it

Just got to wait now, hopefully it won't take much longer.

Driving without due care and attention and driving without reasonable consideration, so presumably one of those relates to allegedly hitting the car and the other for the car coming into contact with the woman.

Its ridiculous, such a waste of police time for such a non incident.

it is in this case, but imagine if it was the other way round, and she had acutally hit you etc and SHE was denying it, you would want the police to take action

Im confident that you will not be charged with anything :)

THe CPS will only take cases on they are almost certain of winning,so that doesn't look like this one.
  • Well I finally got a letter today telling me that the matter has been investigated and "no person involved in the accident will have any action taken against them by the police" which is a relief.

It does say at the bottom that you may wish to pursue your own civil matter and they've included the woman's details, presumably she's received mine :undecided so hopefully the crazy bint won't try to sue me or anything.

I'm glad its finally over, annoyed that it got taken to the police in the first place; its tempting to sue her for causing undue stress :rotfl: not that that's something I'd do!

    Thanks for all your advice.
