Not much new in Northampton today either. Although last week they had lots of bright silicone kitchenware items which were almost running out the door - funky oven grabber 99p (looks like Donald Ducks beak), three egg holder ) for placing in saucepan when doing boiled eggs and lift out 3 together, no more cracks ! Will go again Wednesday to see if they have anything new ...0

Every year before christmas, Home Bargains have a few weeks of selling some really corking stuff. Then they have a couple of weeks around this time when you may as well not bother then, when advent is upon us they usually return to form. I personally believe that they think its too early to start with and then when people start shopping late November they can get rid of any old rubbish. Then in December they stock up with better buys for those of us that are not as well organised.Loving the dtd thread. x0

Wallace & Gromit reusable toastabags
Pack of 2 - 99p
If they are as good as the ones I got from Aldi, agaes ago, they'll make great toasties.0 -
Are they still selling Trident Splash and Wrigley's Extra Mint and Berry (?) at 10p a pack?
Went into Retford branch over the weekend to stock up but couldnt see any, which was rather disappointing....
Cheers.0 -
anyone seen any 90 x 90 chocolate brown eyelet top curtains @ £16.99? I needed 2 pairs but when I got home one was for curtain hooks, not eyelet. None of my local stores have them. Thanks.0

Cheers.
Alfreton, Sutton and Mansfield branches all had lots of packs of the Trident Splash Apple and Apricot flavour last week. Dunno if they've gone now as I've not been back since but I'd doubt it seeing the quantity. Sell by date keeps getting a month later too.
Not seen the Extra Mint at 10p for a couple of weeks. I think they sell out quicker.
The Trident gum is nice enough for 10p but I find looses its taste after just a couple of minutes.0 -
Update to last post, Alfreton branch has no 10p chewing gum now. Nearby store, the inferior B+M Bargains, were also previously selling Trident for 10p. Now they have it in two flavours at an exorbitant 20p
Still nothing new, or much really worth buying. Bought 2 packs of Sun Maid Tropical Trio for £1.50. RRP stated as £1.99 each. BBE 12/08. Not tried them yet.
Also Walkers Sensations in Vintage Cheddar & Red Onion Chutney (crisps, in other words), 140g bag for 49p.
Also sold out of the Sawi Chinese Egg Fried Rice in sachets, 2 min in the microwave, which were 99p for 2 or 59p each. These are OK. Other flavours still left but haven't tried them.0 -
