Opinions please? Being way down south, we dont have Home Bargains, but i am able to visit one next week. Which store should I head for, Forum Centre (stevenage) or Garden Square (Letchworth)? Thanks in advance.
Sorry - I haven't an answer but I would be interested to know how big/good the Stevenage store is as well

I'd say Letchworth is much better bit bigger, I love HB there. Popped in tonight and got my dd's sheep outfit for nativity for 4.99 :)

I've been to both and won't bother the extra trek to stevenage in future. (Unless letchworth is out of stock and stevenage have it.) Plus letchworth has poundland, poundstretchers and wilkinsons (all good for bargains!!:D)

  • Has anyone seen any Martian Matter stuff around the Glasgow area. I bought the spaceship out of Toysrus but I'm now looking for refills etc, and I remember Home Bargains did these last year. Thanks

I've just popped into the store in Ashton Under Lyne and found Rose Petal Cottage Table and Chairs set for £4.99.

This was £19.99 in Smyths a while back and the kids were nagging for it to match the cottage they got last year. Never would have paid £20 for an inflatable set but a fiver ain't bad

Just come from the Droylsden store and there's at least 20 of these if this helps anyone.

They also have the Princess Peppa dress up costumes age 2 to 4 for £6.99, they had loads of these.

Not HB, but a friend reported seeing these in The Entertainer for £2 - think they are online as well, so may be worth a look.
    Now proud Mumto3 :j
  • lots of dream town products in stafford

gaskets garange and petrol pump, rose petal cottage table and chairs set £4.99 and the cherry blossom stores market stall (the little stand with the veg and bag)for £2.99!!
i think the cherry blossom stores set is the american version as it is labeled as cherry blossom market, but still much the same as the english one.
