    will
    be
    HUGE
    !

I was only looking through the open roller-shutter door of that empty unit last week and saw all the work going on.

No indication at that time what it was going to be

LATE APRIL 2010 - according to their website

I was in the Normanton Road HB on Tuesday and enquired about the :j NEW :j Bradshaw Way store.

Apparently they currently have the 24th April, that's a Saturday, pencilled in for the planned opening.

When I said "I suppose this store (Normanton) will close after the other one has opened ?" the reply was NO.

The lovely SA, always polite & smiling, said that she was transferring to the new store but that the "old one" would be staying open.

Maybe it will in the longer term ? Seems a bit odd to keep both open given you could probably WALK from one to the other in 10 minutes (or less) and literally it is only a 1 minute drive.

I mentioned a while back that Home Bargains were opening a store in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire. They have finally 'planned' for a May/June opening in part of the old Woolworths. I'll let folks here know when they actually post the official opening date outside the store.

We have two store like this in St Helens but one is considerably larger than the other. One is in the town centre and the other is about a 10 min walk on the retail park.
    Its great!!!

And for the feline-philes, they also have melamine trays, 6 different designs, showing cute cats (or dogs for the dog-lovers!) asleep. With dancing mice!
Rectangular lap trays £1.99, large (15" diameter?) circular trays 99p; snadwich trays 49p.

I got one of the cat trays today from the Alfreton store for my MIL. Good pice at 99p when Betterware are selling this same one for £5.99
