Ditto! last thursday they had 9 designs, but only one blue union jack one. Can't say i like the mints much myself. but the tins are super cute. i got 2 for me and one for a friend who loves Hello Kitty and was dead chuffed.

now i feel guilty that she probably thinks i spent loads on her!!

Thats the beauty of bargains :D lol

In Bletchley they had some really cute doggy design mug sets - 2 mugs, 2 coasters and a small tray for £2.99 - mostly rought haired Jack Russel Terrier when I looked yesterday, but there are also Black Labrador and Black and Tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel designs - they retail for around £20 in Notcutts garden centre.

They also had matching larger trays, but I didn't see the price for them.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
  • Coulby Newham had 6 crayola bath crayons in a caddy for £1.99 - my two love bath crayons and a pack of eight in boots is four pounds. The grouting in the bathroom is now well and truly not up to 'selling houses' standards ;-)

I have found this area to be a bit light on really good stuff lately - used to get lots of things but don't know if it is because I am not shopping as much lately??
  • Ah the Easter break...time to hit the shops!

Had a fantastic haul in Home Bargains today.

Surprised no-one else has mentioned the Hills Bourbon Finger Cream Biscuits, 200g for 10p. Some are short-dated to April; others good until June - I bought lots, am I the only sweet-toothed one? :)

Beautiful bone china mugs with cats - 4 different designs, printed both sides, really quite nice quality for only 59p.

And for the feline-philes, they also have melamine trays, 6 different designs, showing cute cats (or dogs for the dog-lovers!) asleep. With dancing mice!
Rectangular lap trays £1.99, large (15" diameter?) circular trays 99p; snadwich trays 49p.

Hair-care: grabbed Model Secrets hair sachets - well they are 40 ml sprays - for 10p each:
    • Frizz killer
    • Hair shine
    • Toffee hair repair
Have only tried the frizz-killer: it definitely works but has a strong bubblegum fragrance, if you can put up with that, you will have straight hair for a bargain price!
  • Manchester Piccadilly store today:

Sensations crisps buffalo mozzarella and herbs (big sharing bags)- 39p
Kit kat chunky single bars- 25p
McVities oat and syrup flapjacks 6-pack- 49p
    Toddler meals recipe book- 69p
Jonas Brothers/Hannah Montana sticker books- 59p

Also my mum and sis who live down South always request the "Jellystones" @ 99p for a big tub. They're actually the misshapes of the "Jelly Bean Factory" ones that Quality Save also sell for 99p for a much smaller tube.

    Cheap easter stuff too!
Single cadbury caramel eggs 19p or 3 pack 59p
Single kit kat bunnies (small ones)- 19p
Mini egg bags- 59p (i think)
Mini egg big tubes- 79p (again i think..i thought ooh that's cheap then ran away before they leapt into my hand)
    Kinnerton small easter eggs- 49p
