I bought a pack of 2 underbed storage bags today, the ones that you use the vacuum nozzle to take the air out.

What experience have people had of these, do they last long?

    Ta.

Mine did not last long I am afraid to say

I have used mine only once, and stupidly failed to spot that they would compress into place every tiny crease in whatever you put in them. It needed a lot of ironing plus crossed fingers (my nicest knitwear spent hours on radiators and in the end I decided to live with the remaining creases).

I guess that wouldn't be quite such a problem with bedding, or perhaps with really careful folding (I thought I had folded that clothes I put in).

Thanks for the info, I suppose they would be ok if it's winter and you are storing away your summer stuff or visa versa. You would want to iron them anyway.

All the air leaked back in within 30 mins, useless.

  • Hi,

Has anyone seen yoga/exercise mats in their store? Last year Loughborough had loads for months on end, but I've not seen them around lately :(

As I recall they were purple, rolled up and some had a carry-strap too. More fitness lines have arrived in January but alas no mats...

    Thanks in advance! :j

I think they stock bathroom scales permanently, always seem to have them in my local store. Bought some for my son a few weeks ago, think they were about £6.

I have found these to be quite cheap at tesco around this time of year when they reduce all the fitness items. I don't know if other places like asda do the same thing with all of their new year fitness stuff?

In Liverpool Church Street they had a few copies of the 2009 edition of 'Movies that Matter' for £1.99 which is an absolute bargain as far as I'm concerned, RRP £13.99-16.99. Will be given to my sister at christmas cause she's the drama/ movie nut.
