I read a good money saving tip on the OS board about cutting these in half and it works great.
Dont think they would 'catch' as much dye from our denims as the ones that go in now are near on black when they come out so i don think half would be sufficent.

I've seen them and I thought they were very small and not very sturdy. I suppose it depends if you just want it now and again or for a good few months. I got mine from Mamas and Papas for £100 but my son was in it for six months and the quality was amazing. Sometimes they have them in the sale otherwise they go on ebay really cheaply and you can easily strip, wash and redress them if they are in good condition.

I bought two in lemon for my daughter's twins. We bought new non-plastic mattresses (on Ebay) - her babies were so tall/long that they were not in them for long, but they were perfectly good quality and are in fact still good enough to sell on.

Forgot to say that the baskets were the same length as the very expensive one her sister bought.

Not these ones, but my last two kids were 57cm long and weren't in theirs long either between them, we didn't the moses basket, but was given it, as we wouldn't have bothered, as there's only 10 months between the last two we knew we could keep it even if the first was only in for a few months.

Mine and the kids favourite is dark chocolate, followed by milk chocolate, whilst I will eat the occasional white chocolate now the kids hate it, like I did as a kid.

I gave up with the misshapes as I couldn't remember which were the nasty tasting ones, though think it was the dearer ones, but for the little weight you get for the money, not worth taking any more chances.
