    Good for them!
You cant blame people for getting some bargains. It infuriates me more when people do not look around for a bargain but pay silly money for the same or lesser quality.

These people weren't planning on paying at all

I bought a Ewbank rechargeable sweeper in Bletchley today (they had two models, one holds it's charge for 60 min for £16.99, which is the one I bought. and one which holds it's charge for 20 min for £15.99) Mine is charging for the obligatory 16 hours before first use as I type.
Has anyone else got one, and how to they find it? I'm hoping it will make it easier for my two teenagers to hoover their rooms, the stairs and the landing....
We bought the 15.99 one and had to take it back for a refund. Used it once it made a funny noise and that was it - dead! We wanted it to leave in our holiday home.
No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!

are you really condoning people nicking stuff!

i took it to mean that people were buying too many of the good things in one hoard, which people often get cross about.
Why not just say that a couple stole some items.
The prices are so cheap anyway, they almost give goods away!
    How much ?????????!!!

Are you sure that you didn't have to charge it before you used it?

We bought a different make sweeper for a Christmas present (cost £30!!!) and the instructions said it had to be charged for something like 12 hours before first use. It did have a bit of charge in it when she opened the box so she was able to try it out.

When the charge now runs out, I think she has to plug it in for something like 16 hours.

(Oops, just read that Raksha has already typed about charging before use.)
