You cant blame people for getting some bargains. It infuriates me more when people do not look around for a bargain but pay silly money for the same or lesser quality.

    Thanked by mistake!

Are you saying theft is OK? Maybe it just reads that way.

Esoog seems to imply they had loaded their pram with stolen goods.

The Gillian Mc cereal boxes were still 60+p at our local. The shelves where the beans etc had been were refilled with other products so not sure if that was the end of those.

Me too, I do it if the baby is awake or she chews the basket, I let the staff know first and check it's ok.

All the scallies probably nicked all the good stuff! Last time I was in there this couple had loaded up the underneath of their pram with stuff

I'm guilty of putting things in my pram in the shop :o (but paying for them, of course).
My little one won't stay in the trolley, so I use the pram to restrain him ;). If I buy heavy stuff and put a basket on the back of the pram it tips over, so I tend to put the heavy stuff in the pram underneath basket and the rest in the basket.
As I'm aware, shoplifting is when you go beyond the payment point and don't declare items.
Don't judge all us pram smugglers together ;)
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

I'd be very grateful to hear about Gillian McKeith stuff in any Lincs/Notts/Sth Yorks stores. I didn't buy anything like enough in Retford cos I was being nagged.
  • I bought some of the Gillian McKeith products on Friday:

Buckwheat cereal: ok, very plain flakes which tasted salty. I wouldn't buy them again.

Miso soup (cuppa soup): this is an absolutely horrific brew of soup which tastes like yeast. It has some spring onion floating in it as long as you gulp it down instantly, otherwise it sinks to the bottom with all of the other "ingredients". If this is what's good to eat, then I just want to be bad.

Organic smoothie veggie vitality with a herb twist: this is a tomato based drink which is quite nice. The seasoning overpowers the drink - I like basil but it's a very strong herb. I would buy this again & I think it would go well with vodka ;)

I bought a Ewbank rechargeable sweeper in Bletchley today (they had two models, one holds it's charge for 60 min for £16.99, which is the one I bought. and one which holds it's charge for 20 min for £15.99) Mine is charging for the obligatory 16 hours before first use as I type.
Has anyone else got one, and how to they find it? I'm hoping it will make it easier for my two teenagers to hoover their rooms, the stairs and the landing....
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
