You could always get the phone numbers for the stores and call them first to save you a wasted trip.
I've not been to the Clydebank, Bathgate or Wishaw ones. Rutherglen is in the wee shopping aracade and if you are parked in the car park you have a lift to negotiate to get all your stuff back to the car. I like going to Coatbridge even though its a bit further away from me. It has its own car park so you can wheel your trolley full of goodies straight to your car!
There's also ones in Galashiels, Berwick(i think), Glenrothes and I heard about one in Kirkcaldy but I'm not sure if thats open yet, it'll say on the website.
Thanks for that, I phoned ahead today to the Wishaw store and they only had thomas the tank engine in, they did say they'd get a delivery on Monday so I'm gonna phone and make sure they have them in before I got. Also gonna phone the Coatbridge on Monday too cause they didn't have any but are expecting a delivery on Monday.
My mum ended up going though and got some polly pocket books for 29p, a dress up bratz doll for £6.99 I think it was and other bits and pieces. It was her first time too and she is now in LOVE with Home Bargains lol.0 -

Hi, could you tell me what the Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old game was, as i've seen a dvd one for 8.99 and an electronic one for 12.99, both of these are in B n M.
Any info you have will be fab. Thanks in advance x
Hi,
Its in a tin box and its got lots of cards with different questions on them. Don't think there's dvd or anything else with it.I can't actually look at the box at the mo as the kids are still up and don't want them to see it!! I think Hb said the rrp was 8 or 9 quid? My son loves the programme and games so hope he likes it.
Will post again later when I get a chance to look at the box again.0 -

Thats funny you took your Mum in. I had been raving about HB to my Mum for ages so when she visited me I dragged her into the Rutherglen one for a quick look. She was well jealous, but she didn't have to be for long as she can go the Berwick or Galshiels branches which have now opened.0 -

Is it similar to this one:
Ah i can't post the link, if you google 'are you smarter than a 10 year old card game' the third one is the one i am referring to.
Sounds good especially for £2.99, maybe worth grabbing one as they can be played on journeys etc, thanks for the help.0 -

I bought one of these from Telford HB a while ago and it looks great when the girls made a batch of cupcakes etc. I had bought it for a present but when I got it home I wanted to open it and see what it was like. Unfortunately teh box was a very snug fit and I split it trying to get in .....shame, could not give away then as a pressie.:j0 -
Has anyone spotted the grow your own stick insect recently in Rutherglen, Wishaw or Coatbridge?? The last times I was in they had others, but not that one.
Also, is there a best day to go for deliveries/good stock?
tiaAnd truth be told I miss you...And truth be told I'm lying0 -
Has anyone seen one of these electronic money counters in Home Bargains?
I am sure I saw one recently but can't remember if it was here or in B&M.
My 10 year old has mentioned that she is going to put one on her Christmas list and I know you can get them for about £10 online but I am sure they will be cheaper than that in one of the two above stores.0
