Lots of Click Start in Northampton (green ones), along with Dora & Thomas games.

Didn't notice too much else, DS was on a mission to climb out of his pushchair so I was slightly harassed!
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

  • Can anyone tell me which is the best HB store to go to ?. I've never been to a HB before and know there are 5 near me, wishaw, coatbridge, rutherglen, bathgate and clydebank.

I only found out about HB when a woman saw me buying a clickstart in a toy shop, and told me not to buy any games for it because HB had them for £1.99. I'm hoping when I check at least 1 out tomorrow I'll find some of the games..and hopefully other things for my daughters Christmas.
  • Rutherglen didn't have any earlier in the week but they had Leapfrog wipe clean workbooks, which suggests to me that they will eventually get them in.

You could always get the phone numbers for the stores and call them first to save you a wasted trip.

I've not been to the Clydebank, Bathgate or Wishaw ones. Rutherglen is in the wee shopping aracade and if you are parked in the car park you have a lift to negotiate to get all your stuff back to the car. I like going to Coatbridge even though its a bit further away from me. It has its own car park so you can wheel your trolley full of goodies straight to your car!

There's also ones in Galashiels, Berwick(i think), Glenrothes and I heard about one in Kirkcaldy but I'm not sure if thats open yet, it'll say on the website.

Kirkcaldy not due to open yet, Glenrothes must be near to opening if not done so by now.

Longton are going to open a new bigger store which will be great as you will be able to park directly outside.

There is a sign on the old Jollees building saying opening soon and asking for staff.

It is going to be adjoining Wilkinsons.

    ;)

I wonder what will replace the small Home Bargain shop.

I'm a fellow Longtonian, I'm well chuffed at that never even spotted, now can do B an M and Home Bargains in one swoop, always park at Tesco for my 3 free hours though :j

I stick to Lidl car park then I haven't got far to stagger with my full carrier bags from B&M.

Never even considered going onto there actually, thanks for the tip. Is it a paying car park do you know? Oo I wish Under the Arches was still going that'd be even better!

Home Bargains in Longton is good, prob tend to go more to B and M as they have the cat food I buy in there :j
