I bought some of them Milo Nuggets as I was intrigued too. They looked like chunks of Aero... god how wrong I was.

They are digusting!! Reminds me of dog biscuits, not that I have ever tried dog biscuits!

Well my OH is always in the doghouse so that's probably why he liked them. :D

Just looked at my receipts and it was Home Bargains in Northampton I bought them from, not 99p shop. I overspent in both shops!! ;) lol

Also they had stacks of Kiddicare branded clip on pram parasols in Leek. I struggled to find a shelf age label...and couldn't find a sales assistant!!! Pretty sure they'll be much more competitive than on Kiddicare...sorry about lack of info...I tried!!

I saw these today at sutton, they were £3.99 lots of colours to chose from.

My best win so far : trip to lapand:j:j:j
  • has anyone seen any of the in the night garden art things in the WREXHAM store?

Oh my word Nestle Milo chocolate. It's delicous. I can eat Milo out of the can. I wish we had a HB... I'm not sure what the nuggets exactly are bit in South Africa you can by Milo slabs of chocolate and they are out of this world.

Now I am really jealous cause I want some : (

Nestle Milo nuggets: they are true nuggets, in the sense of food industry
( = make something appealing out of refuse material),
only confectionery that is fatter than the boiled-sugar type, but not chocolate:
they are a flavourED product, ie a chocolate surrogate.
If you peel the UK label back (product is built for a non-european market where true choc is a luxury), you see that the nuggets contain palm kernel oil (the vaguely named "vegetable fat") and palm oil as substitutes for the cocoa butter
(= THE expensive and difficult-to-work-with ingredient OF chocolate that the industries like Nestle, Cadburys etc try to cut down/replace.)
Nestle tries to make the product look better by adding "the goodies!" vitamins etc,
I'd say lipstick on a pig.

PS. anybody spotting DROSTE 75% PASTILLES back in HBs around them?
