I'm jealous you are all finding amazing bargains. I wish the city where I lived had a Home Bargains and BM.... they are superb for value that's for sure. Maybe one day!

I'd like to stress (get it, stressers - lol!) that not all HB staff are not nice. The one in Barry, I found the staff to be good. In Bridgend, I find most of the staff horrid. Except my friend who works there - lol! But a neighbour of mine works there and she is horrid in work and at home.
My HB bargain of the day are Extra (the chewing gum people) mints for 10p. Nice and you get quite a few in a box.0 -
WARNING:
Today I bought my kids a NERF Big Play Football - it has a screen in the middle kids can draw on with their finger and then it closes up and they throw it - for £1.99. I googled it when I got home to see how much it would normally have cost me and found this;

Which is basically a product recall from 2004 because children have needed stitches when the ball has hit them in the face!!!
Just thought I would warn anybody before they bought one too.0 -

Was amazed to find today at HB Leek Aciclovir 5% (exactly the same as my Zovirax I had in my bag) for 49 pence!! It is identical strength and size of tube as Zovirax for fraction of cost. I normally pay in excess of £6 for Zovirax for my coldsores!! Am gutted have paid so much for so long, but thrilled to find such a bargain!! Yay!!
Also got In the Night Garden pencil case for 99p (v.nice, RRP around a fiver) and matching pencil crayons (RRP £3 something) for 69p!!0 -

Lots of Camp Rock stuff in ours ie binders, notebooks, keyrings etc.
The smaller notebooks were about 49p and the larger ones 69p and I think the A4 binders were about £1.99, sorry can't remember.
Kit Kat peanut butter Duo bars ie two small chunky kit kats in one pack were 29p.
Nearly forgot, I also got an AA road atlas for 49p rrr £6.99 although you wouldn't pay that for it.0 -
Most of the staff in Pontefract are lovely...always pack your bag, very helpful with advising prices if they are not on the shelves. The nice little man told me the sugar was "the cheapest in Ponte..." which I already knew as it was 93p in Morrisons and 66p in HB AND it was proper Silver Spoon but I thought it was delightful that he told me!!!:DLaughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0

In H&M Prescot this morning i've got foil sachets of lamb stock and vegetable stock for 10p. They were near the baby foods.
Try them next time i do a casserole or soup.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
