I would definitely recommend the HB in Whitchurch, Shropshire if anyone is in the area. They were really well-stocked and I found things that I'd not been able to find in the Sheffield stores, or which had gone out of stock quickly. They had:

    - loads of the Rosanna crockery including the mixing bowl sets
    - cube world
    - lots of 10p packs of envelopes
    - the 29p greetings cards
    - 10p straight to wok noodles
    - ROC cellulite cream/foundation/moisturiser etc for £3.99
    - luxury chocolate misshapes 99p
    - post-it picture paper 99p
    - Shadowbox display frames £1.99
    - Lavender scented microwaveable body warmer £2.99
    - Bionaire humidifier £8.99

No alcohol sadly, but I coudn't have carried any more in my basket!

Strangely enough I've bought all of that apart from the humidifier from the hillsbro branch - perhaps I'm why it's going out of stock quickly! :o

Sadly not true of the stores I manage to get to.

    Today in Retford:

large boxed china plates (not Rosanna) with Happy Birthday in bright colours round the edge, 99p, label says 'only $4.95 with any 3 Hallmark cards purchased'. Would display a child's birthday cake rather well.
  • Ravenshorpe recently - 4 hard backed lift the flap books - Who is hiding ..in the garden/forest/house/farmyard - 75p each.
    Maisy's Rainbow Dream - 99p
    The IVF worked;DS born 2006.
  • In Northampton yesterday, got 3 x Terrific Toddlers board book and dvd gift set for £1.99 each (RRP £14.99) - shapes, colours and numbers. Really lovely!

Also a paint by numbers baby photo frame - fab gift idea £3.99.
  • Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but HB in Ashby, Sc u n thorpe had a childrens movie-making toy, said something on the box about letting kids do the 'bluescreen' affect used in films and add in another background later? Sorry I don't have more info, but it was £14.99, rrp £99.99!! Might make a fantastic christmas pressie for someone!

(It was in a large dark coloured cube shaped box, for anyone hunting!)
