I just returned from my local store in MK, was a bit dissappointed, not much there. Didnt find any of the bargains you guys mentioned above.

Maybe they are still stocking as new store and has only been opened for 2 weeks or so. Or I have got there too late! lol

Will try them again in a week to see what they have.

    I've been Money Tipped!
The thing to remember is if you see something that you like the look of don't hang about as it will probably have gone if you go back another day to get it.

Things go very quickly in there and if you see any food that you like then it may be best to buy a few of that item, as once they have gone they tend not to get a lot of the same stuff in again because of the sell by dates.

They do tend to have their regular foodstuffs in but anything that is selling for 19p a jar etc grab it while you can as that is normally a one off.

    ;)

I love Home Bargains. I really wish one would open in or near Peterborough (live just outside). Our nearest is Corby and it's quite small but everything is so well priced. The Woolworths store in Peterborough took up two floors....Imagine all the bargains HB could fit in there......:p

ONLY £1.22 for a box of 6 at the CO-OP at the moment.

Hope you don't have one nearby, your resistance might waver :rotfl:

And for those not near a CO-OP ....

... just noticed today that TESCO have "jumped on the band-wagon"

    BOX of 12 - £2.49

On the shelves at mine so I presume nationwide
