Today in the Basingstoke branch they had lots of Disney Fairies, Roary and Princesses water bottles and bowl sets. The water bottles have a bit inside that you stick in the freezer to keep the drink cooler for longer. The bowls come in pack of 3 with lids, microwave and dishwasher proof - great for snacks for little ones. tey also had the bowls in HSM and Hannah Montana.

There was also lots of HSM and Hannah diaries and stationary sets dotted around - looked like ex Woolies stock to me. Also, Spongebob, Ben 10, Spiderman, Power Rangers and cars bits and bobs - fridge magnets, stationary sticker sets etc.

Really great for party bags in there at the moment! HTH someone xx

That'll be because KS3 SATS have been scrapped :j and these are obsolete! ;)

Schools still have to give an end of key stage level though so my DD still had tests the same time the SATS would have been taken anyway despite them being 'scrapped'.

They will probably republish the books with a different title like 'End of Key Stage Revision Guide'!

These will still relevant be for home study and a bargain price! Have always found the Letts ones good.

Today I got Senseo coffee pods in the Kenya Blend variety. I usually pay about £2.35 in Tesco and have to make a special trip as I am a Sainsbuds girl and they only do plain pods. Anyway I was chuffed and I noticed last time Poundland had them Home Bargains got them as well for 79p so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
  • Poundland are selling 10 Philips 11W Energy Saving Bulbs for £1.

These are are equivalent to a normal 60W bulb. Both bayonet and screwcap fittings are available. If you don't need 10, they are also available as 5 for 50p.

These things last for years and save money off your electricity bill. You can't use them with dimmer switches though.

Noticed my local had a lot of Pure items instock such as body scrub and souffle which once the labels are off is Boots botanics.

Did not buy but saw these cooking mesh things. You put chips etc on them and straight on to the oven shelf. Saw them in the 99p shop too. Its called cookamesh and that will give you some idea. Not sure if by the same people or not. They had flat and basket.

Not much else apart from a moan they did not have blue bukly usb hubs in as husband broke the last one .

On the upside the USB hub I did buy I made sure was bright pink :rotfl:

    Yours
