  • I nipped into a local branch after my hairdresser's appointment yesterday - have gone shorter than short so was looking to treat myself to a new bold lipstick colour for £1. Nothing doing (but at least my hair looks good).

So much to read, so little time.

Strathkelvin Retail Park, Bishopbriggs (Saturday afternoon/yesterday):

Homelux Glass Mosaics Wall Tiles Creme Brulee, £3
(FYI: Homebase has a variant vastly-reduced to £1.93, not sure about availability)

I know Poundland's cheekily-named #6 (£1) skincare range has been out for a few years, but this seems to be a pricier addition (I avoided them as I don't use day moisturisers without SPF).

#6 Anti-ageing Retinol Night Cream (With Retinyl Palmitate, Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea Extract and Shea Butter) 50ml
#6 Anti-ageing Retinol Facial Serum With SPF25  (With Retinyl Palmitate, Hyaluronic Acid, Green Tea Extract and Shea Butter) 25ml
    #6 Anti-ageing Hyaluronic Facial Serum (with 2% Hyaluronic Acid, Monopeptide and Vitamins A & E) 25ml
    - all £3

    #6 Anti-ageing Hyaluronic Day Cream With SPF25 (with 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid, Monopeptide, Vitamins A & E and Shea Butter) 50ml, £3

I bulk-bought a load of Olay from Boots I think a while back and now am on the last bottle so was going to enquire about good facial mositurisers from Poundland. For the price of these I'd be better off sticking to Aldi / Lidl Q10 stuff.

I have another rule for moisturisers, I don't buy jars (the assumption that they go off more quickly as you're dipping fingers into them makes sense - though you can get little spatula thingies if that bothers you).

Amazon has had a lot of Uriage moisturisers/cleaners slipping down in price lately, liking what I've tried of this brand so far.
