I was pleased to find some multiway socket adaptors yesterday, similar to this:

Was disappointed not to find any tasteful tree toppers, though. Everything seemed so large and tacky.

Just to say to keep an eye out for a Poundland leaflet coming through the door, it has a £3 off a £15 spend.

    Valid until 15th December.

This may be a local rather than national campaign - has anyone seen this leaflet in-store, as we did when the 99p shop converted?

I'm going to have a rant now: the mobile phone cable charger I bought recently has worked precisely once, before giving up. Bad investment, so avoid unless you find use for it as a snazzy shoelace.

I returned the unopened lightning leads (well, swapped them for other things :o).

The odd thing is it works with my phone but not my tablet.

For those who can't get enough of the punn-y aftershaves Poundland have on offer this Xmas, On The Pull, Lads Lads Lads and Growler are in Scented Soap form too, £1!

PS: The conversation about Lightning Cables reminded me of one I had in the Trongate store a few years ago - buying one for my niece - I'm Android all the way :D

I asked an assistant if he could recommend either X or Y Poundland-brand Lightning Cable and he vaguely replied, "they're not that great". Think I ended up buying from Amazon. So maybe (some of) their cables still haven't improved.

Generally their tech offerings get positive Feedback from bigclive and all the other Youtubers.

Tablets generally take a higher voltage charge than phones, perhaps the cable isn't adequate to deliver that higher level.
