Poundland Bargain Thread -

Was in Poundland, Trongate, Glasgow yesterday - they have Heinz "2 for £1" offers - in mine it was (full size tins) Heinz Spaghetti & Sausages, Beans & Sausages, Macaroni Cheese. May be others out there.

Also, Heinz Farmer's Market soups, 400g tins 2 for £1, Seven Vegetable (I think, didn't buy that one) or Tomato & Butterbean varieties.

They also have a promo on, if you spend £1 you can buy 100ml EDP Beyonce Rise, 100ml EDT Beyonce Heat Rush or a David Beckham Instinct EDT 75ml, for £10. 3 per transaction.

Found this book in the Staines branch today - London Unfurled - which currently sells for £10 on Amazon but has £25 on it. Still sealed in cellophane.

It's an illustration of the banks of the Thames in London with all the buildings etc and opens out like an accordion. Would be a nice gift for anyone with an interest in art, geography, history etc.

A friend got one a few weeks ago in another branch near London so it may only be available in branches in the South.
