We bought the water carrier from poundland last year, it was pretty sturdy, turned out we didn't need it though, as the campsite had running water close to us.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

The dynamo camping torches are very impressive (bright & keep small children amused!)
Dundee Poundland has random stocks of Dulux paint & woodstain & Cuprinol indoor varnish. I seem to have quite an extensive collection as they look really handy...
Don't buy the magnetic fishing game as it doesn't work!0 -
The cake baking tins etc are reasonably good.
I bought 3 different sorts and the equivalent in Wilko, would have cost £8 compared to the £3 that I paid.0 -

What amazes me most about Poundland is that people shoplift there!!!
Caught two lads in the act yesterday, grabbing a pack of cigarette lighters..... They thought no-one had seen them pick up, head around the corner and smuggle them in a bag.
As they walked past me I offered them a pound to pay for them the swiftly panicked and legged it.
They went from being cocky and calm as they performed the act to incredibly nervous and scared when I left the shop not far behind them.....0 -
