i popped in my local a couple of weeks ago as needed to kill some time before an appointment and ended up spending £5 on nail polishes as they had sinful colours polishes which are usually £2 in boots0

I'm pleased with it too. It goes on really well.
I went back and got some more:money:RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

I'm still using the Sally Hanson Magnetics'. I didn't think I would like the red one, but now I think it's my favourite.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

This may be of interest (apologies if there's another forum thread, I didn't see one).
I watched "Pound Shop Wars" on BBC 1 last night (repeat from the night before) http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03wyybz
Chris Edwards owns Poundworld (and a very affable chap he is, too). Chris, and the founder of Poundland, Steve Smith, recently joined forces to launch poundshop.com. The programme highlighted the bugs and delays they had when people overwhelmed the site on launch day.
I remember seeing a discussion about this site on HUKD a month or so ago, and had forgotten all about it. Alas, there still seems to be bugs and "Site is Offline" pages coming up..hopefully it'll get sorted out as the official launch was a few weeks ago! http://poundshop.com/ (Standard delivery £3.65, Minimum order £10).
The "Hereforaday.com" female owners were the "first pound shop to go online" rivals, and I had to look up their website as it wasn't mentioned in the programme. (It turned out they did launch first, after all!). Their site is http://www.hereforapound.com/ (free delivery with a £15 order: otherwise £3.50 standard delivery). I think the free delivery over £15 is a winner, even their site selection seems a tad better currently.
I would recommend watching the "Pound Shop Wars" series, it's very interesting.
I do still prefer the thrill of finding something amazing in a pound shop, rather than online, especially if it's the last one on the shelfI'm spoiled though as I have a few pound shops quite near me.
