Picked up some of the Lanacane today.

I have been pricing up letter trays, those office 'in trays', for ages and have found them difficult to get. Then, voila, a nice colourful one for £1 in Poundland! They were in a new office/back to school kind of section.

Also spotted some large glass candle holders, with a mosaic glass design. These were pink and there were some other none mosaic styles which were nothing special. The mosaic ones look exactly the same as ones I was eyeing up in Evolution (a fair trade, nice colourful stuff for the house/gifts kinda shop) for £4/5. I'm not a fan of pink but if they had other colours I would have grabbed em!

Popped in earlier and found everything on sale for the princely sum of 97p! (Not sure whether this is national or something to do with a 99p Shop in the vicinity ).

I bought loads of stuff, mainly more make-up including Max Factor lip gloss and concealer, and Rimmel lipsticks that usually retail at £5.99. There was also some L'Oreal Colour Mineral eye shadow pots with their own brushes - not my shades, but I'm sure some lovely lady will benefit.

Am really mourning the fact that I am down to the last few drops of Stila oil-free tinted moisturiser, it was miles better than the MAC oil-free product that I will be going back to.

  • Today's bargain buys included a pack of Argan Oil facial cleansing wipes (£3.99 on ebay!) and a pack of 24 sachets of L'Oreal Elvive repairing shampoo. I got so excited I forgot to get the free range eggs I had really gone in for and ended up having to pay £1.55 at my local village shop!!

By the way nothing was being sold at 97p here but, there again, we don't have a 99p shop in the area!

Saw those OPI crackle nailpolishes at the Billericay branch of PoundWORLD today. Loads of 'em. They also had Sue Maxley 'Famous' mascaras (saw these originally at Boots and I think they're now discontinued).

Vfm4, i'm with you about the Stila oil-free moisturiser with sunscreen. It is totally fab. Luckily, I bought 5 tubes when I last spotted it in our local Poundland.
