I have also used the red brights hair dye i have dark brown hair which has gradually lightened to mid red colour by using box dyes whilst obviously it didnt go anything like the brightness of the box it has gone a nice crimson red shade
Pro's its a good shade and will go over mid hair just giving darker shade, obviously the price:) cons are you dont! Get a lot my hair whilst quite thick is only jaw length and it as touch and go and go really get the dregs out and work it in not to get any patchiness it also had a stronger chemical smell than mainstream ones, but would i get more of them? A definate yes!!:T

What colour were you to start off with? Any chance of a photo of your hair colour now? Thanks.

hello! my hair is naturally dark but was coloured to a light blonde with lilac in it,so your hair would need to be very pale.

The only photo i have is from FB, hope its ok - it was a bit windy outside lol x

Someone mentions that its being withdrawn from sale because of the child that opened it up and drank it.
I not sure if the OP is confused with the oven cleaner for sale in there that looks the same, as chickywiggle said. But i thought it wasnt bad for a £1 wasnt as good as Oven Pride but it cleaned my hob up ok.

Here's some of today's Poundland buys (Argyle Street, Glasgow):

2 x Allura False Eyelashes (they seem thicker and more defined than the usual wispy ones they sell and I buy, so thought I'd experiment)

Radox Cherry Blast Shower Gel (they also have Coconut Crush and Berry Blast) http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8056/8416677028_dea75e50f6_z.jpg

Charles Worthington Results For Men 2 In 1 Shampoo And Conditioner

Radox Men Showergel & Shampoo Lemon & Tea Tree (also Mint & Tea Tree. I'm pretty sure the Shower Scrub varieties were there too http://www.radox.co.uk/products/men Definitely saw an Orange Shower Gel as I wasn't sure which one to choose, but it's not listed on the Radox site, strangely).

On the subject of hair dye: The cheapo-looking Pro Colour Plus (in the red/burgundy-silver boxes) is actually decent. I used it on my boyfriend's head and chest hair (he asked me to, so I obliged haha) and although the shade 3 is supposedly Darkest Brown, it looked Black to our eyes. I'm going to try shade 4 Dark Brown on him next time around. There *is* a Black shade so who knows how that turns out (maybe it gives that horrible blue-black tinge, but can't say as I haven't tried it).

Also, I saw the Royal Doulton cereal bowls in boxes (Blueberry), which come two in a pack, but there was an empty box and an orphaned bowl lying loose. There seems to be a lot of stray goods in my city centre Poundlands :(http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/910Zx52%2BaJL._AA1500_.jpg

  • I was in Poundland Newtownards (Co. Down) today and picked up one of the Radox coconut shower gels and as I was browsing the shelves saw some beautifully packaged hand cream. It is Floriography Intensive moisturising hand cream, 75ml. They had two fragrances, Tea Rose and Chamomile and Verbena. It looked really expensive, like I said beautiful packaging and the tube itself inside the box was metal like the l'occitane hand creams. I bought one of each fragrance, one for me and one for the gift drawer.

I just googled it and general rrp seems to be £10 for this size :) chuffed! I might even nip back and try and get another 2!

They also had rocolor shampoo and conditioner, you got both in a box for £1 in decent sizes. The blurb on the packaging states it is professional salon quality but I couldnt find much info online. Didnt buy this but they had alot of it.
  • Just realised I can now add links and pictures as I am not a (brand new) newbie :)

    Here they are . . . . .
