Got the fold flat water bottles today in the Sutton branch. Wish I'd got more be ideal for kids for school, can't see them lasting the school holidays as will be used daily.

Doh, I was in the Sutton one today and missed these, too busy looking for Stila, only had dark which is no good for me
  • Only dark Stila in the Bristol one today too, which is the wrong end of the spectrum for me :(
I did see the Gino casserole dishes though, which made me smile! They'd be perfect for serving up hummus or something, but you wouldn't even manage a chicken thigh casserole in them :rotfl: (internal diameter's probably about 3").

    Hello all.

Been in £land Coventry today and got the foldable water bottles.

Also, got a small tin of Lion ointment and one of winter green.
(Yes, I know, I had never heard of them either for those of you thinking I have a Lion as a pet!)
Apparently the Lion ointment is a very good drawing agent for splinters, boils etc. and the wintergreen is good for aching joints and muscles. I thought they might be good for winter prep (oops! wrong thread!)

Picked up a bottle of Veet Hair Minimising Body Lotion today. They had aloe vera version for normal/dry skin and also sensitive version with Vitamin E.

This is silly money in Boots: http://www.boots.com/en/Veet-Hair-Minimising-Body-Moisturiser-for-Normal-Dry-Skin-250ml_1180414/

    £5.25!

I got this on try me free a while back and, while I'll give it a shot for £1 as a body lotion that might occasionally give the appearance of less hair, I'm not convinced it does at all and it's definitely not worth £5!

I like your thinking - even results given by the prescribable Vaniqua are highly dodgy. If you've got hair and don't want it, the only thing that's going to lessen the growth is ripping it out from the follicle.

Not been in a poundland in a week, went in today and came out with nothing! Found the stila, all the wrong shade for me, and nothing else appealed to me.

I will still pop in on Monday morning before work. The shelves are normally full then, maybe something will catch my eye!

Also saw sachets of Ariel stain remover powder, banded/sealed together in a pack of about 5. Not sure how good value this is but the sachets were quite big. The packaging wasn't in English so not much info on them.

Saw ariel stain remover at asda for £3, or £4.55 from tesco with a £1 off coupon from supersavvyme, making it £3.55. 500g so not sure how many washes you could add that to? so it's a bit difficult to work out whether the sachets are value for money without knowing their weight i guess

Yes, I've been thinking of getting the stain remover from tesco with the coupon. Thanks for pointing out that it's £3 in Asda, I might stand a chance of actually getting a voucher from Tesco price promise (do they have a smilie of a flying pig?!)

I'll try and have a closer look next time I'm in poundland at the weight in the sachets. Couldn't make much sense out of the packet but weights have got to be the same in any language!
