This would be the most embarrassing purchase ever

Going round other Poundlands in Glasgow city centre, saw Russell Brand's "My Booky Wook 2" (blergh)..more Stila cosmetics, the tinted moisturiser in Light, powder foundation in 70 Watt, and cream powder foundation in C. Angel Light Whitening Powder Foundation was in C and D in other branches (I have B from the Trongate one). A Stila "4 Pan Compact"* (not sure if it's face shades or eyeshadow) which I haven't seen anywhere else before. Haven't opened it yet.

The shade guide I found: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Stila-Angel-Light-Whitening-Powder-Foundation-Refill-Shade-b-NIB-/00/$(KGrHqR,!jYE1I3J+UL5BNYESET6Bg~~_1.JPG

Joystick Junkies brand DS cases which look very cool.

Also got one of those ipod/android phone stereo speakers in pink (that fit via the 3.5mm headphone jack) and it sounds *quieter* than my dedicated phone speaker!! So that was a waste of a pound.

The crackle nail polish (Outdoor Girl) is great if you find any, can't speak for the W7 variety. Saw a few of those. Also cute pastel lemon Sunshine Sparkle Revlon nail varnish, was tempted but I have tons of varnish. http://www.vampyvarnish.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/Revlon-Summer-Romantics-Sunshine-Sparkle-Swatch.jpg

Hardly any of the Kindle cases left now, could only see them in the Trongate (Glasgow) Poundland, didn't check the Sauchiehall Street one, though. They have the Flip Easel style ones in there now, too. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41FrNqzWOnL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

*The Stila compact seems to be an EMPTY magnetic eyeshadow case holder. OK, not very useful for me either! http://www.fortheface.com/brand/stila/4-pan-compact/ Mine is all cellophaned up so I didn't get to look at it before purchasing.

And at the wedding section in the Union Street Poundland they now have 9" Tulle circles, whatever those are. Maybe for centrepieces or something?

There's some great stoneware, casserole and lasagne dish sized dishes in stone colour, white, wedgewood-ish blue or plain cream in the big Argyle Street Poundland. Good sizes, not teeny ones.

Got myself AidFast (seems to be their brand of plasters in the blue packaging) 30 Plasters, only notable because they have Silver in them. The Elastoplast version can be quite pricey.

Also Carnation Creamed Rice packets (3 for £1) in Original, Caramel and Cinnamon flavours.

Has anyone tried the disposable barbecues they sell in Poundland? Should I presume that because they're £1 they're not as good as the ones in Wilkos/Tesco?

They're traditionally used for wrapping up sugared almonds for favours. :)
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

I'm actually after Gina D'Campo cookware, read somewhere its available in Poundland, but saw no evidence of any in Walthamstow.

Does anyone know if its a countrywide offer?

I saw the small individual portion casserole pots in Hemel Hempstead so it sounds like quite a few stores should have them.

Does anyone know what the Signalex mobile phone speakers with a 3.5mm headphone jack (saw them in white, but found a pic of them in black) are like?

My brother fancied them for going away. http://www.amazon.co.uk/signalex-earphone-External-speaker-Speakers/dp/B0026NE59G/ref=sr_1_31?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1342986700&sr=1-31
They are rubbish thats why they are a £1.Sounds like sound is coming out off a baked bean tin.

I've used them and they worked fine. I think they may be slightly smaller than others so may not last as long or have quite as big a surface area but they do the job!
