Back into Ipswich for raspberry canes which I got half a dozen of. Spotted Bratz the movie (non-cartoon) dvd and Platinum by Jo Rees (hardback) which is a fantastic read, if you like your glamour chick-lit then you'll love this! I also got a fiction book about the Oscars with an rrp of $24!
  • Inspired by this amazing thread, I headed off to £land in Horsham, West Sussex...

2 Maybelline Nail Varnishes - a cream pink colour and a clear top-coat, both great for French manicure
2 Rimmel eye shadows - one with 2 brown/camel colours and one with lilacs
1 Rimmel blush - lovely pink colour

£5 spent, usual RRP around... £14 I'd say? Bargains!
  • Beware the hair dyes. The one I bought last week did absolutely nothing!

Ibought this (xanto stainxapp) after reading what people had said on here and it really is better than vanish so thank-you, I think I will call in today and stock-up on a few more cans

ooh, I need to try and find some of this. My carpets are in desperate need of a clean! (thanks to having 3 Kids).

Is this product a mouse/foam type product like the 'Vanish' one?

Tried out the Busy Bear pedal bin liners today. You need two, one inside the other, but with 55 in a pack (tie tops, 20 L size) and a pleasant lavender scent they compare very favourably with Tesco's scented drawstring bathroom bin liners at 23 in a pack - priced around £1.50 I think.

I use these for my bathroom, bedrooms and food waste bin and just use one without any breakages. Probably depends how much heavy stuff you put in but I've found them to be really good value
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

Beware the hair dyes. The one I bought last week did absolutely nothing!

I went auburn for a while last summer, then dark brown for the winter with no problems whatsoever. I've used them for root touch ups too.
You do have to leave them on for some 40 minutes as against 20 minutes for big brand names.
Plus check whether or not they must be used on wet or dry hair. Follow the instructions - if you did, my apologies!

Not working isn't confined to Poundland dyes, two people have said the Clairol Perfect 10 washed straight out.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

You are probably right BUT have you ever had blight?
It appears as bits of the leaves going black and you then have very little time to dig up the (small?) spuds and hope they won't go mushy from the inside.
    [Irish potato famine starts here]

My dads never bought seed potatoes in his life and never had blight, and he's 86 and still doing his own gardening! And I've never bought any either.
