We have a local shop called the £1+ shop.Ummmm......isn't that just 'a shop'?Yes thanks that helps.
That's what I had in mind because I've been to shops called 'The Pound Shop' and prices wildy vary up to £20, ok common sense will tell you some things are not a pound but some things you can be unsure of and it's embarrassing

In Keighley this morning they had some Morgan make-up bags with a rrp of £4.99 on them. An assortment of colours - I got a nice gold one.

Went to the new poundland in Yarmouth today. We are obviously bottom of the pile because for a brand new store it was full of complete crap.
