That's what I had in mind because I've been to shops called 'The Pound Shop' and prices wildy vary up to £20, ok common sense will tell you some things are not a pound but some things you can be unsure of and it's embarrassing :D

    So thanks again :D.
We have a local shop called the £1+ shop.Ummmm......isn't that just 'a shop'?
  • In Keighley this morning they had some Morgan make-up bags with a rrp of £4.99 on them. An assortment of colours - I got a nice gold one.

I also noticed some Disney Baby hair-brush and comb sets. I paid almost £5 for an identical one in Tesco a few weeks back! Grrr!

do you think poundland sales will go to less than a pound with the new VAT?:rotfl:
  • Went to the new poundland in Yarmouth today. We are obviously bottom of the pile because for a brand new store it was full of complete crap.

I think ill stick to Norwich.
