It would be really useful to share that kind of information. I bought some awful headphones and a remote control there. They went into the bin immediately. Definitely not moneysaving! :(

These disappointments have taught me to hold on to receipts until I get my purchases home!

Excuse my newbie naivety, but is there an inverse to this thread - i.e. Poundland Rip Offs? I searched but didn't find one - I'd like to share my bad experience of Signalex Headphones from the poundland.

Why don't you start a new thread titled Poundland Ripoffs? as this one is for bargains. You could then go into greater detail.

Thanks Vfish. Okeydokey, mine went straight in the bin too, and it just wasn't worth my while to go back for a refund. (It was sunday evening, and as I can only get to the local poundland at weekends it would have meant going there again the following Saturday).

Has anyone seen this 6 piece bucket set?
    http://www.poundland.co.uk/product-range/a-z/6-piece-beach-bucket-set/

I went in to find one but instead of 6 it was 2 piece. This was the same bucket and all it had was a spade.

I'm sure they had these in Kidderminster a few weeks ago as it's the same set my little one had last year. It was a full 6 piece set in a plastic netting bag.

The spade is a bit wierd and more of a sand scraper than a shovel but my 1 year old had loads of fun with the set on holiday and still uses it in his sand pit now and none of it's broken 12 mths later.

Hope you find it and thanks for alerting me to the fact that Poundland has a website!! just seen loads of things I want for this years hols so off there tomorrow!!

I bought 4 pairs of these for us to use on the plane, all worked perfectly! My DS now uses his on his Nokia music phone, he says they're better than the ones which came with the phone!

Had a look today in Kidderminster and all they had was a bucket and spade like you said. The bucket from the 2 pc set is significantly bigger than the one from the 6 pc set though if it's for an older child.

Thanks for this. I might get the 2 piece then. I didn't boffer before as I thought they were same size, so thought I'd wait for the other one. Saying that my 18 month old is just as happy with the old pans and sieve I gave her anyway.

Just to add I still haven't found any blueberry plants yet. I've been looking for ages now. Saying that though, the Tayberry one I bought a month ago is still just a twig with only a little root growth, when everything from J Parkers came to life within a week.
