One for anyone crafty.
I just found one of these emergency shelters. It's 8 x 5 ft.
I'm going to see if I can make some shiny bunting and edging for party banners. Don't know how it will cut but will try as it's a fair amount for the price.

Just to add while I was getting the link off the website I saw these as another option, but they weren't in my store.

Thank you for your recent enquiry.
I have been informed by our Marketing team that this promotion is only available at the moment in our Scottish stores. Would it be possible for you to inform me where this information was obtained please for me to look into this further.
Ha! I'm in Scotland, have been to my local poundland 4 times since the promotion started and I've haven't had even one! Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -

Thank you for your recent enquiry.
Unfortunately the Poundland promotion was for stores based in Scotland only.
Kind Regards

There is nothing on the scratchcard to indicate that it is applicable to Scottish stores only. This is a bit unfair for other UK residents.Invented tradition: Couponology

Just say you obtained the information from one of your Scottish cousins - lol.
Bit funny that other Scottish MSE'rs have also not received scratchcards, not just the rest of UK. Sounds like they have botched up the distribution for this promotion (especially considering the T&C's I posted previously - absolutely nothing saying for Scottish stores only).
Still a Poundland fan, though.Invented tradition: Couponology

I previously bought Silk and White Noise at Poundland (oh, and Ash Wednesday, which I've misplaced - might be in the loft - somewhere!!!) and a few other DVD's such as The Uncanny, Rendition, etc.
Today, I bought Whisper (2007). Looked intriguing.
From the producers of White Noise and in the horrifying tradition of The Omen comes an unnerving tale of bone-chilling terror! Confident the ransom will be easy money, ex-con Max (Josh Holloway, Lost) kidnaps an 8-year-old boy and escapes to an eerie, deserted cabin in the woods with his fiancee (Sarah Wayne Callies, Prison Break) and two shady associates. But Max soon realises that this is no ordinary kidnapping...and this is no ordinary child. Using haunting supernatural abilities to manipulate the minds of his captors, the boy maliciously turns them against each other in a cruel and deadly game that will have you on the edge of your seat until the very end!
Bonus features: Alternate Ending * The Making Of * Deleted and Extended Scenes
Not bad for a squid.

As an aside since we're discussing movies, did you know that Paranormal Activity (2010) has three alternate endings.Invented tradition: Couponology
