Aw Violetta, that's a shame, probably takes a bit of getting used to walking around at that age with shades on, it's so long ago for me I've forgotten. She was also wearing new trainers, so think that may be another reason, she is fine today and nose only has a wee scab on it could have been mush worse, thanks though
I've never found Poundland shades to fit me, I have a big head! but DD and DH have both had shades from there, DH loves his 'terminator' style ones, DD can normally find something fashionable that fits her (she's 11 so adult sizes fit her)
That way we can replace them every year, as the UV protection does wear out with age, can't remember where I read that. For a pound each I think they're great!Booo!!!0 -
The sunglasses in the Dundee store aren't Foster Grant ones. My DD still picked a pink pair & wore them on the way home (she's 4) she was running on the way home fell over bust her nose  and the pain is scratched off the bridge of the sunglasses, poor darling.
Oh bless, what a shame! I better watch out when I wear mine, I dont need an excuse to fall over, I trip over fresh air sometimes. LOL0 -
Didn't realise UV protection wore out either?
I read it somewhere a few years back so never keep sunglasses for more than a couple of years.
I got polarising ones on holiday at Christmas, they're great, really help with driving, so I'll be looking out for more of them.(not in Poundland though)
Sorry, back on topic though...
Have never seen Foster Grant's in Poundland, but they do seem to have the little stickers saying 100% UV protection.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Hello Luxor4t and Hants_panda,
I don't see why you should miss out on this. The T&C's should be applicable throughout the UK.
Do you still have your receipt from the previous transactions? Even if you don't, I would go into store and explain to them that you should have been given a scratchcard for these transactions.
Alternatively, if you can't make it into town, you could use the following web form, and query why you weren't given a scratchcard during the specified promotion period.

HTH.
PS Let me know how you get on. I'm a great fan of Poundland. They've always been very fair and courteous. I've driven by the Head Office previously, and my goodness it's massive.
Head Office:
Poundland Ltd Wellmans Road, Willenhall West Midlands, WV13 2QT England Tel: +44 (0) 121 568 7000 Fax: +44 (0) 121 568 7007
I had the privilege of working with people in that area, and my goodness they were friendly and hospitable. So take it you will get your query sorted without hitch, considering that's where the web form must go to.Invented tradition: Couponology
