Hi everyone I havent been on here for a good few days, Ive had a pretty crappy time of late, my darling dad lost his battle with a long illness on saturday morning. Even though he was poorly it was still a massive shock how quickly it happened, but I was with him all the way through and it was very peaceful. Anyway im in a bit of a limbo at the minute and dont really know what to do. I already lost my mam to cancer just over 9 years ago, and im only 32. So just to take my mind of things Im catching up on the last 30 pages or so ive missed. It really is great just to think about something else for a little while, you all make me smile with your little jokes and cute pics, so keep up the good work ladies your helping me without even knowing it. lol x

Apologies for being non boots related but I wanted you to know that you are cheering me up!

My thougts are with you. I lost my Dad two years ago this coming Saturday and it broke my heart (I was and always will be a Daddy's girl!) Times not the great healer I hoped it would be but I think you're right, you do need to keep busy and I also count my blessings because life really is to short to let the daft stuff get you down!
What helped me in the horrible early days, was the thought that I was privelledged to have such a great Dad for 34 years (him and mum made me the adult I've become - maybe thats not such a good thing!!!:rotfl: )and not everyone is that lucky. So treasure your memories and give yourself a great big pat on the bag for being there for him when he need it most.

Sorry for being off topic, Im rambling and crying so now I will post my shopping to cheer me up!
    Take Care m x

    4x Lynx mix (2 for £4)
    Modelme shampoo £2.49 (250 pts)
Pack of 3 sock £2.50 (100 pts Hoisery for mailing and 50pts ACM)
Lots of reduced Socks and tight in ordinary place
JK file x2- at last (500pts)
Time Delay moisturiser £2 (200 pts Mag)

Best of all used Pigsback gift vouchers so "free"

Got a price check on Johnstons bag still £9.99
and Huggies newborn box £5- the SA was lovely she said they were reduced the week before!!! Just my luck. Forgot to check the toys (think someone spied some reductions) but thought the temptation would be to much for my three year old so avoided the aisles!

Didn't see any reduced S&G and the Ted Baker bags are all back up to full price - Cheeky Mr B

Just back from a boots on the other side of town, I was determined to use the model.me voucher that my usual refuses. As well as that I got 3 no7 washing & bathing products on 3 for 2 plus 250 acm points coupon and 2 lots of socks for my dd's which were reduced to half price and I had 2 100 points acm coupons for.

So I got a pack of 5 pairs of socks reduced from £6 to £3 with a £1 back in points and a pack of 3 pairs reduced from £4 to £2 with £1 of points. Now I'm thinking I should have sacrificed the points on the no7 and paid with points instead of real money. All I seem to do is convert real money into boots points, and get free(ish) stuff as well.

Just realised I didn't get the no7 GWP despite spending £16.75, I should have realised but SA didn't say either. Bottom of the bootsing class for me.
  • long shot i know but would anyone be able to print me a few of the huggies vouchers please ?

also would i be able to use the vouchers and pay the rest for the nappys with points as there not boots vouchers or does it not matter ?

havin a thick day sorry :(
I'll print you as many as I can if you point me in the direction of where they are, sorry I'm really not keeping up these days.
AFAIK you can't use ANY vouchers when paying with points :(
