Anyone read Martin's latest blog about hobbies? http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=13113699#post13113699
Got me thinking: what do you class bootsing as? Is it simply making the most of necessary shopping anyway, is it just simple moneysaving, or is it an actual hobby??

Not very interesting shop in the Metrocentre today - not a lot of bargains. spent quite a lot of money on not much really!

Cost me £22.46 after deductions, got back 1256 points. Curious thing is my receipt says total saving today £2.15 including £1 health club save. I didn't buy anything that I would get money off for in the health club, or not that I can see anyway. Any ideas anyone?? Does the mitchum £1 voucher show as health club?

Till was weird, it tried to charge me for my H&B mag! SA had to do something to take it off!

    snipped

    Hi

The H&B mag comes up as health club, so even though you get it free, it shows on till receipt as £1 saving health club.

Definitely now you mention it, this is too time consuming and thought controlling for a hobby. I have to have my fix of boots!

NB: I do have a new hobby, so if you hear nothing from me on here after next saturday I'm probably in hospital having fallen off the horse on my first riding lesson! Why oh why did I book this, seemed like a good idea at the time!

Depends what you're after really - changeover day is wednesday,:j so unless you want anything from the current pick of ACM vouchers (all of which run out at close of business tuesday) then I'd wait until wednesday and see what the new pick is. Of course it might not be as good as the current lot, but it's a risk you take. Personally I've had my fill of the current lot - any more would be spending for spending's sake.

However I'm not 100% on this but if you want the current no7 GWP I'd go before wednesday, cos I'm fairly sure someone said earlier that these finish on tuesday. I might be wrong though, it wouldn't be the first time! :rotfl:
