The Oxford dictionary states fantastic as being (even in its informal sense as being extraordinarily good or attractive which in this case the offers have been relative to other retailer offers. Strictly speaking there are no guidelines to define a normal sale or a hyped one. That is based on the perception of each individual.

Hmm, didn't need a dictionary to tell me what 'fantastic' means. I was merely pointing out that I, along with many others, felt that the 24 hour bargains were a huge let-down. Some of the games were even more expensive in the sale than can be found elsewhere.

Yup - it was CRAP - ONE PSP game - come on...... Virtua Tennis :( - yeah there is SUCH a demand for that one. Glad I didn't stay up for the full 24 hours. Given that they still have tonnes of their stock from the sale still left then even THEY have to admit it was a failure

On the dvdforums.co.uk one poster mentioned how efficient the service was i.e. they received the item the following morning.

While that is good news I'd rather have waited a week for a mega bargain to arrive.

They had the same a while ago. I think it was the governments ecommerce week and thet had a 24hr sale. My friend and I sat up in anticipation, ready with credit card numbers to beat the rush. Out of date wrestling and football games with £5 off. Complete joke, and waste of bandwidth downloading their hapless nonsense!
    Waddle you do eh?
