Getting past a windows log on password?
Comments

I've just got it to work but when I clicked ok a window has come up computer name changes at the top. It says enter the name and password of an account with permission to remove this computer from the domain with a dropdown box with my email address in it and a box for password and an ok and cancel button. I did change it to home and the workgroup needed a name too but it still had the domain name at the end of home so I just blanked that outThanx

Just leave the passsword section blank, you may have to give it a name.
Try leaving it all blank first.0 -

Open notepad
Type
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion]
"RegisteredOrganization"="What you like here"
"RegisteredOwner"="Your name here"
Save as regdetails.reg to the desktop.
Double click the file and say yes to adding to the registry. Job done0 -

Dont delete them, just dissable.
And try and leave two active accounts both administrators then if anything goes wrong with one you may be able to get in with the other and fix it.0
