There are 7 users listed 5 of them have administrator user types the list is something like this:
administrator - is administrator ticked, password never expires ticked
user - password never expires ticked
user - password is empty ticked, is disabled ticked, password never expires ticked
administrator - is administrator ticked, is disabled ticked, password never expires ticked
administrator - is administrator ticked, password nevr expires ticked
administrator - is administratot ticked, password never xpires ticked
administrator - is administrator ticked, is disabled ticked, password never expires ticked
How should I cange these before I click to next page or exit?
The first one is the one that administers the computer and the domainThanx

Everything went ok, I have got into the pc now thanks to people helping here.
Is there any way I can stop the log on window and this domain thing?
I've looked in local users and groups and there are 6 listed including this administrator one.
One is an ASP.NET machine account do I need that? Should I disable or delete all of them apart from the administrator one?
these are the accounts:
administrator
guest (disabled)
staff
support remote desktop help assistance (disabled)
aspnet machine account
support microsoft help service (disabled)Thanx

Right Click My Computer
Goto the Computer Name tab at the top
Look for the Change button to rename or join the computer to a domain and click it
Change the PC to be a member of a workgroup and click ok all the way back out. The PC will tell you that it needs to restart to apply the changes. Do this and post back what you have after the reboot0 -
Just tried that and the ok button is greyed out before and after me trying to tick workgroup so it wont change.
I clicked on the more bit and it says primary dns suffix name and then net bios computer name. in between those though is a ticked box saying change primary dns suffix then domain menbership changes.
I'm not changing any names yet just ticking the workgroup, should I be doing anything differently?Thanx

You can delete ASP.NET, BUT to be on the safe side just disable it for now as you can delete or enable it later if everything is OK.
I just have one name with admin rights and never set passwords or let passwords expire.0 -

Tick the workgroup option, type Home into the workgroup box and then the ok button should become active, click ok0 -
Dont know what I'm doing wrong but the ok button still isnt active. The name showed up as home but with the domain name after it. I went to clear the domain name but it still didnt activate the ok buttonThanx

You have to make a change or the OK button will stay greyed out.
