Thanks for the quick reply Jay, but again the first 6 digits of the unlock code are different to others, WHY? and why some sites say no sim, others say use a different sim to the network you want to unlock from...0

Because they do not know what they are doing,

The unlock calcs on some websites generate incorrect codes, this is because the settings used for the phone models are incorrect,I wont go to far into it but there is something called a box setting which has to have the correct code in it in order to generate the correct codes, and for the 6230i, a non accepted simcard has to be in the phone when you input the code, there are only a few phone models where you need to do this, all other models require you to input the code without a simcard in the phone.0
