Hi,

I have to say that our modems are not a bad bit of kit the HG520 is better than the MT882 in my opinion. Also the company who make our modems is the same company who make the equipment in the exchange so from a compatibility point of view they are the best you can use.

I think the problem is routers seem to have a very short life, from our experience 18 months and they've had it. After such a relatively short time it's not the first thing you think of as causing the problems and lay your blame on your ISP instead.

You'd expect them to last longer really.

My belkin router's lights keep going off except the modem light. Should I just buy a new one? And if so, where's the best place to buy it?

signed on tonight at 7.40 and have had to resign in four times now (8.13). Is this my problem too?. We are with talk talk. I am getting pretty fed up.
