There is a charge if you cancel the direct debit, transfer to another supplier or change product within the next 15 months.

Monitors are in short supply at the moment but you will definitely get one if you're signed up to ESv4.

Generally speaking, I would say if your capped prices are higher than around 15% on what you're paying now I would think about it, if your capped prices are 10% etc. higher than at the moment, I would do it without thinking - there's obviously going to be a price increase with everyone soon, it's just a matter of time.
I've been told this is not true, and more than once!

    Yep, still confused!

    By someone at E.On?

Basically, what would you rather do, worry about price increases (which could be early next year as well) or not think about it for the next 15 months and be paying £10-£20 a month more. You know the prices are going to go up, it's inevitable.

Yes, and different people at Eon too.

Thanks, I know that's true - deliberately putting up my bills is not something that sits comfortably with me!

The capped rate that I signed up with last week isn't available anymore either, and the capped rates that they have are higher, so I guess I should count myself lucky that I capped when I did...

Indeed, it is only a matter of time before the prices go up, and capped rates are replaced (as British Gas' have) with more expensive ones.

Please let us know within the next 14 days if you change your mind by calling us on 0845 059 9905*, or completing a switch back on the website if this is the first time you've changed your product.

Sorry, I thought you didn't get any period to change your mind on a tariff change :o
