Just look for me with the small 3 year old dressed as Sleeping Beauty :rotfl:
Our car will have Flounder on the dashboard. So its easy to recognise in the hotel car park.2008 Wins -FORD Disneyland Paris trip.0 -
I haven't got my car yet either.
I asked for a weds delivery but they couldn't do it and asked if thurs am would be ok. That was the other week and I've heard nothing yet. I hope it turns up tomorrow, I can't fit 7 in my Mini!
We live in Derbyshire so we decided to stay in a hotel before our 7.35 tunnel on fri. Every Galaxy I see I'll want to know if they are fellow comp winners. Give us a wave if you are, or shall we do a secret signal
I will not be going to bed till i know my friend has recieved the car :rotfl:2008 Wins -FORD Disneyland Paris trip.0 -

I found this in the T&C:
"Sustenance will be provided at specified meal times. Room extras, telephone or other food/bar charges are not included."
I must confess, I hadn't expected them to give us all our meals too. In fact we get B&B at hotels, special party buffet on Saturday, so it must be dinner on Friday and lunch on Sunday for those lucky enough to get later crossings!laurmurph0 -
I'm so excited now. We've never been to the Paris resort although have been to Disney World quite a few times. I've heard that the Paris one is better. I don't think I would have considered going before just because I thought it wouldn't be the same as Disney Florida. I have a feeling this trip is going to change my mind though.
We have to leave at 1.30am Frid morning as we are catching the train at 6.05 am. We'll be in a black ghia model. Anyone that doesn't have the Sat nav is welcome to follow us. Lol! If the Sat nav is any good that is!
Would be nice to recognize other MSE'rs. Maybe we should wear something recognizable for the party on Sat? If would be good to put a group MSE photo on the winners thread. Maybe that's too ambitious! LOL. Anyone have any ideas what we could do to recognize each other?0 -
just waiting for the car now, should be here within the hour!!!
leaving 6pm tonight traveling from newcastle to the holiday inn in folkstone, to get a coplue of hours sleep then on the 9am train, can't wait0 -
We are totally unexperienced tourists.......didn't even have passports until the WEM arrived and prompted us to finally apply for them
If by some chance we should manage to get the train and find Disney in France :rotfl: what do you do about parking????
Do you park and take your bags in?
Go in and see if they happen to have a REAL reservation for us
I don't know if I am more excited or more terrified..........:j
I am still waiting for details in the post, headlight stickers and jacket and triangle (not in the car) which Ford said they would post yesterday.
Will they REALLY let us on the train with just a booking number from the printed email???? The people arranging it said they will.....
I am off to hyperventilate now
Everyone else here seems to know so much about Disney and travelling, I am completely out of my depth!
lolOctober 2008 wins - £250 Red Letter Day, Taken Tshirt, cap & memory stick, Strongbow magnets & glasses, Peroni Bowls & bottle openers, Fogarty duvet & pillow, Horrid Henry book, trip to Disney Paris for 7 and a week of Galaxy car hire, £100 Ocado voucher, Nivea face cream, Ambipure air fresheners, DS game0 -
There are car parks for the hotels, right next to them - Hotel New York is used for lots of conferences so it's particularly well catered for. The reservation number for both the euro tunnel train and the hotel will be enough. All the rest of details and tickets will be given when we get there.
I could have done with more information from the start:
Meal vouchers provided at Disney, if I'd known that sooner, I'd have booked tables
Club class service on euro tunnel, food and drink provided then I wouldn't have paid for breakfast in our hotel!
me grumble? NO.......laurmurph0 -

"Club class service on euro tunnel, food and drink provided then I wouldn't have paid for breakfast in our hotel!"
Is this true?
How did you find out and more importantly where do we get this food and drink? Is is both ways? Do you get it on the train or in the terminal?
So many questions...
AND my car hasn't come when it was supposed to, oh dear0 -

Hi Sally
I am sure you will be fine... what time is your crossing tomorrow? We are 7:35am, if you are around at that time you can follow us if you don't have SatNav in your car. We were up late last night trying to find France maps for our SatNav. Finally got it sorted so hopefully our trusted friend will get us there safely.
I had a little look on Eurotunnel website, never travelled on it before and you can check in with just your reference number using a booth of somesort and it will have all the details of your booking. The hotel will have a carpark. Just go in and give your name etc and then when you have all your keys and things, grab a trolley to put all your bags on to take up to your room (or into the storage area of the hotel - depending on your arrival time).
We are hoping to receive our headlight stickers today too.
Good luck and have loads of fun. Hope to see you there.0 -
