Thanks for the tip. I went along to the Broughton store this morning at 9am and picked the only one in the shop up for £49.99. Have spent the last month trying to persude my daughter the choose something else for christmas (original £90 was far too much for this item) she will be delighted and so am I at my £40 saving!

I too have tried to persuade my son to consider something else but without luck. I picked one up this morning from Watford and I'd say they had about 15 left. Offer valid till Sunday.

Cheers for the tip,i read it last night and went to woolies in Dundee at 9.00 this morning and got the only one that was left in the shop,i had to ask the assistant as it had the £89.99 price tag on it and to my delight she said £49.99,cheers again. :rotfl:

Burnley woolworths store had 3 late on Friday afternoon (2nd). They were already marked down to £49.99.

Just bought a Robosapien from Argos today at £54.99.
Thought I had a great bargain!!
I had reserved it last night at £63.99 and when I got there it was cheaper.
I was quite smug when I paid with £50 worth of Nectar points than gave them £4.99 in cash and received a £5 voucher back.......
Wish I had seen the Woolworths post (but may be hard to get a hold of!)

Hi, thanks missed this at Asda. My little boy looks at this everytime we go in a shop which sells them. I would not have paid £89 but I saw your thread and rushed down to woolies and got one. I cant wait to see his little face light up when he sees it.
Now, how do i get it out of the car without him seeing it?

I also missed out on the Asda offer and was gutted - so I called woolies today and reserved one - then went in at lunchtime - only problem is hiding it now - as its so blooming big!
